Article 223 furthermore states that a penalty of from 20 days to 1 year in prison and a fine of from 2 to 50 Omanirials shall be imposed on anyone who makes, acquires, distributes or displays indecent messages or images or other obscene articles.
كما نصت المادة 223- على أن يعاقب بالسجن من عشرة أيام إلى سنة وبالغرامة من ريالين إلى خمسين من يقدم على صنع أو اقتناء أو توزيع أو عرض رسائل أو صور خلاعية أو غيرها من الأشياء الفاضحة.
In addition to the information given in the initial report on the Optional Protocol, we should mention that the General Mobilization Act issued by Royal Decree No. 76/2008 defines the age of recruitment for military service during a general mobilization exercise as 18 full years. The Act prescribes a penalty of up to three years' imprisonment and/or a fine of up to 3,000 Omanirials (RO) for any violation of its provisions.
بالإضافة إلى ما سبق بيانه في التقرير الأول في شأن البروتوكول، فإن قانون التعبئة العامة الصادر بالمرسوم السلطاني رقم 76/200 قد حدد سن الالتحاق بالخدمة العسكرية خلال مدة التعبئة العامة بتمام الثامنة عشرة من العمر وفرض القانون المذكور عقوبة السجن مدة لا تزيد عن ثلاث سنوات أو بغرامة لا تتجاوز ثلاثة آلاف ريال أو بإحدى العقوبتين على كل من يخالف أحكامه.
